Last night, I was at the movies with my husband and children. We had gone to see the latest movie in the Batman series, 'The Dark Knight Rises'. A predominante theme in the movie was hope and the strength and goodness found within us all.
It hit me at that moment, sitting in that dark theatre that we go to these superhero movies, that we love these characters, because we crave something more. We crave the Holy Spirit without even knowing it.
I left the theatre infused with an intense need. A need to share with others that their longings can be fufilled that beauty and light that is much closer than we realize!
